rpmコマンドはインストールや削除で使うことが多いと思いますが、コマンドやファイルがどのRPMパッケージによって入ったかを確認することが出来ます。
今回はサンプルとして、sarコマンドやiostatコマンドを含んでいるsysstatのRPMパッケージに対してrpmコマンドの実行方法と結果を紹介したいと思います。
インストール済みのRPMパッケージを確認する
root@cent76 ~]# rpm -qa |grep sysstat
sysstat-10.1.5-17.el7.x86_64
もしくは以下でも確認可能です。
[root@cent76 ~]# yum list installed |grep sysstat
sysstat.x86_64 10.1.5-17.el7 @anaconda
RPMパッケージに入っている中身のファイルを確認する
-ql オプションでRPMで入るコマンドやファイルを確認することが出来ます。

-qfオプションでコマンドやファイルが、どのRPMパッケージで入ったかを確認することが出来ます。
コマンドの場合
[root@cent76 ~]# which sar ←whichコマンドでsarコマンドがどこにあるか確認
/usr/bin/sar
[root@cent76 ~]# rpm -qf /usr/bin/sar
sysstat-10.1.5-18.el7.x86_64
ファイルの場合
[root@cent76 ~]# rpm -qf /etc/cron.d/sysstat
sysstat-10.1.5-17.el7.x86_64
